Life Laundry is run by Jane and Alicia, trading as Life Laundry UK. You can contact us about your data at lifelaundryuk@outlook.com, or by Instagram message to @lifelaundryuk.
This website doesn’t ask you for anything. There are no forms, no accounts, no cookies, and no analytics or tracking. The fonts and pictures come from this website itself, so nothing about your visit goes to anyone else.
Our web host, Cloudflare, keeps short-lived technical records of visits (such as your internet address and the pages asked for) to run the site and protect it from attack.
If you message us on Instagram, email us or ring us, we use what you tell us — your name, how to reach you, what you’d like help with, and any photos — to reply, to quote and to arrange any work. We do this because you’ve asked us to, before any agreement; if you book us, it’s part of our agreement with you.
Instagram messages are also held by Meta (Instagram’s owner) under its own terms, and emails by Microsoft, who provide our Outlook email.
We keep an enquiry that doesn’t lead to work only as long as we need it to follow up with you, then delete it. Records of work we’ve done are kept as long as the law requires for accounts and tax.
We never sell your details, and we don’t use them for marketing unless you’ve asked us to.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Just contact us as above. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.
